Happy Birthday to you!

Our girl turned 5 today, or I guess she’s 35 in dog years or something like that. Let me tell you how hard it is to get a picture of Lulu. She doesn’t like my camera one little bit. If it’s in my face, she won’t look my way. Seriously, she’ll do anything to avoid it!See what I mean? That’s okay. We still love our birthday girl.

Aren’t puppies just the sweetest thing? Colleen brought her new baby over to play today, and we all fell in love! Here is the proud Momma, because you know having a new puppy is just like having a new baby in the house. Say goodbye to a good night’s sleep. But it’s just so worth it!!!!Fergie had so much fun playing with the little tyke.
Colleen said he slept the whole way home, and for three more hours when he got there. I guess Fergie wore him out. Fergie is sound asleep on the back of the couch as we speak, so it goes both ways. I just love puppies!

A Girl on a Mission

Fergie gets so excited when she gets to go with us on an adventure outside our fence. It doesn’t happen as often as it does with Lulu, because, well, she’s not as smart as Lulu. She knows how to sit, how to come, and all the basics. It’s just that sometimes, she decides she’d rather chase the neighbors and their dogs down the street rather that obey her commands. Lucky for her, she’s super cute and we love her. When she does get to go on a new adventure, she is more than accommodating. She tries really hard to come when we call her even when she’s sure there is something better out there calling her, too.

My Girls Love a Fire

Lulu isn’t the only one that can’t get close enough to the warmth of a fire. Sometimes I wonder if Lulu is just gonna nudge Fergie’s fluffy butt on into the flames just to see what will happen, but so far they’ve been content to share the warmth in complete harmony.

Someone woke up this morning with a cool forehead. I figured we were done with fever, but as usual, I was totally wrong about that. Rather than spending 95% of the day with fever, he spent about 70%, so that is better, right? Fergie still has plenty of time to snuggle while he recovers.

One of our smoke alarms started chirping yesterday. Lulu hates her some chirping smoke alarms. She literally loses her mind. She was so scared she hopped up in my lap as close as she could get and snuggled in. Scott had to get a picture.

Jackson’s Puppy

Jackson used to sleep with puppy every night. He still does sometimes, but he isn’t that attached. I think he decided Fergie needed puppy more than he did. Fergie wasn’t so sure but she is giving him a shot.
