Senior Trip — Day 1

Instead of going with the group from school, Christian invited us on his senior trip. Initially it was going to be Christian, me, Jackson, Michele, Caroline, Jak, Colleen and Lindsay, but Tropical Storm Alberto had other ideas. We pushed the trip a week because of the weather and lost Lindsay and Colleen. We got up so early on a Wednesday and drove through the remnants of Alberto. We made it around 2, then ate, got into our hotel, and dropped all our crap off and headed to Universal.
Our hotel was pretty cool. The water taxis were super handy. It was sprinkling, but we managed to ride lots of stuff anyway. Harry Potter world, or street, or whatever it was, was so neat. I was holding the bags under this guy texting home while the kids rode something. All of a sudden I heard some grumbles, growls, some clicking, and then this happened.I could feel the heat of the fire where I was sitting. We were a little damp, but we didn’t realize how enjoyable that was in comparison to a sunny 98 degrees. Besides, who doesn’t love rainbows???
